Classes & Damage Types
Six operator classes and five damage types form the foundation of Endfield's combat system.
Classes
Guard
Skilled at making enemies Vulnerable and applying Physical Statuses. Excellent damage dealer.
Caster
Excels at applying Arts Inflictions and Arts Reactions. Excellent damage dealer.
Striker
Exploits Physical or Arts effects inflicted by other operators to unleash the decisive attack.
Vanguard
Great at restoring Skill Points (SP) to help teammates' skill casting.
Defender
Highly durable. Skilled at protecting and healing teammates and counterattacking enemies.
Support
Skilled at applying various control effects that weaken enemies. Can also buff and support teammates.
Physical Statuses
Physical damage dealers build and consume Vulnerable stacks to maximize damage output.

Physical Status skills build Vulnerable stacks on enemies (up to 4). Use stack-builders to set up, then stack-consumers to deal massive damage.
Build Stacks
Lift — +1 stack, staggers
Knock Down — +1 stack, staggers
Consume Stacks
Crush — Physical DMG burst
Breach — +Physical DMG taken
Arts Reactions
Elemental Arts attacks build Infliction stacks that can trigger powerful reactions.

Arts attacks build Infliction stacks on enemies (up to 4). Same element triggers a Burst; different element triggers a Reaction.
Arts Burst
Same element = +1 stack
Heat Burst
Electric Burst
Cryo Burst
Nature Burst
Arts Reaction
Different element = consume all
→ Heat = Combustion
→ Electric = Electrification
→ Cryo = Solidification
→ Nature = Corrosion
Combat Mechanics
Master these mechanics to maximize your combat effectiveness.

Perfect Dodge
Dodge at the exact moment an attack lands. Reduces Stamina consumption and restores SP. You can chain two dodges before a cooldown.

Stagger Nodes
Tougher enemies have Stagger Nodes. Fill the stagger bar to make them falter, creating an opening to interrupt attacks.

Interruption Cue
Watch for visual cues during enemy attacks. Time your counter correctly to interrupt and punish.

Weak Points
Certain enemies have targetable body parts. Hit weak points for increased damage—but hitting the wrong spot may knock you back.
